THE DAY IT HAPPENED
THE SOUND OF the pebbles groaned as Tim and his crew was out playing soccer by the lake. It was a normal day for them, nothing suspicious at all. Well, that is until something unpredictable happened. While Tim and his crew were playing, he noticed that one of his friends, Tom went completely blank, pale as a ghost. Tim called out to him, and his friend just walked away. However, silly Tim got distracted easily when the soccer ball came up to him. He has forgotten all about his blank friend. But poor Tim felt confused when his other friend, Ben went blank as well, and the same shade of white on his face. He walked away and now there wasn’t anyone else to play with. Just then, Tim felt a light tap on the shoulders, and he shivered as a breeze of cold wind blew towards him, and if things couldn’t get any worse- TUCK! Tim felt as if his skin was being pulled firmly. He was blue as the sky, and so he passed out.
THE FRIGHTFUL MOMENT
TIM WAS AWOKEN but instead of being in his body, he was next to it. Tim screamed as he looked down, head to toe, he was all dark, black, and gloomy. He was a shadow. He turned to his body which was still and cold as ice, it had the same pale face his crew had. Confused, and terrified at the same time, he took a big breath and slowly backed away. At that exact moment, he heard wonderful, and joyful children noise nearby. He went to investigate, and to his surprise, he found a huge playground that was filled with dark, black, and gloomy-looking shadow figures- How could all of them could possibly be happy, especially since what’s happened to them, Tim thought. He came up to a few of them, asking so many bizarre questions. It turns out in order to get back to their regular lives, they had to play in the playground ‘till the crack of dawn when their signal started that beeps repeating. But just as things couldn’t get more complicated, if they didn’t complete their task, they’d be forced to live in this playground for all eternity!
THE COMPLICATED TASK
THE SWEAT FROM Tim was dripping like crazy after 45 minutes of doing the task, he didn’t know that playing in the playground for the whole day could be this exhausted. He didn’t have any breath left to keep going. But he was determined to get out of this terrible place. He felt sorry for the ones that didn’t succeed, they were all chained up. Tim made some new friends along the task, Brianna, Brent, and Thomas. He felt grateful to have loyal friends by his side in the dreadful moment.
THE ENDING
THERE WERE ONLY 5 minutes on the clock ‘till the crack of dawn. Sadly, Thomas didn’t succeed. But at least Tim was thankful that God spared his life into living there for all eternity. But there is one thing that bugs him the most, why him? Why all of the even? Nobody knows. Nearly 1 minute on the clock, Tim was just finishing up these last few things, there was basically everything in the playground. Nothing was going to stop him now. “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,” and they’re off. Everyone ran with a speed of a bullet rushing to get to their homes. Tim was relieved and proud of himself that he maintained himself. But from now on, I think he’ll stay closer to indoor sports.
